Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (250g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated white sugar
  • 1 large egg (50g)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Stir until the mixture is smooth and the sugar is fully incorporated.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  4. Scoop approximately 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it between your palms to form a ball roughly 1 inch in diameter. Place balls 2 inches apart on the sheet.
  5. Press a fork into the top of each ball, twist slightly, and press again in the opposite direction to create a criss-cross pattern.
  6. Bake in the center rack for 10–12 minutes until the edges are light golden brown but the centers remain slightly soft.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool on the pan for 5 minutes to set before moving them.
