Ingredients:
- 1 cup (250g) creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup (200g) granulated white sugar
- 1 large egg (50g)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Stir until the mixture is smooth and the sugar is fully incorporated.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Scoop approximately 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it between your palms to form a ball roughly 1 inch in diameter. Place balls 2 inches apart on the sheet.
- Press a fork into the top of each ball, twist slightly, and press again in the opposite direction to create a criss-cross pattern.
- Bake in the center rack for 10–12 minutes until the edges are light golden brown but the centers remain slightly soft.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the pan for 5 minutes to set before moving them.
